“Everything IMA” to Be Discussed in May Meeting

For the final educational lunch meeting of the 2017-2018 chapter year, the Oklahoma City chapter has planned an “Everything IMA” event on May 16, 2018.  Topics will include IMA membership types, costs, and how to sign up, along with membership benefits and details, including free webinars for members; the CMA certification program; the CSCA certification program; the Campus Advocate Program and student scholarships; study material recommendations and tips; IMA board member insights; and a Q&A/chapter year wrap up.  Presenters will be Melissa Goyer, CMA, director-accounting, Patterson-UTI Management Services, LLC; University of Central Oklahoma accounting professor Edward R. Walker, Ph.D., CPA, CMA, CIA, CFE; and John Rogers, CPA, CMA, vice president-finance, W&W Steel.  The program offers one credit hour of CPE, and the meeting will be held at Hefner Grill, 9201 Lake Hefner Parkway, Oklahoma City.  Lunch is included.  Registration and lunch begin at 11:30 a.m., and the program will be from noon to 1:00 p.m.  Cost for the event is $20 for IMA members and $30 for non-members and guests.  There is no charge for student members attending the meeting.  Please register online here or through the Meeting Information link at the left of the page by 5:00 p.m. on Friday, May 11, 2018.  Payment can be made here or through the Payment link at the left of the page.  Payment can also be accepted in cash or by check at the door.  For the May meeting information flyer with additional information, please click here.  For a map to Hefner Grill, please click here.
